Uw Math 308 Reddit, . If you are not capable of doing decently well in 308, you are probably not going to get into CSE, regardless of whether or not you take it before applying. It seems strange that a community college class would be more rigorous than the UW class, so am I missing something here? Math 308 will probably be full of completely new concepts for you, 'linear algebra' has almost nothing to do with the algebra you're probably used to. I thought this class was fun. If you're majoring in math and like this class, that's a good sign, and if you think it's really boring, then a math major might not be the best for you. It seems like several of the grad school programs recommend either linear algebra or diff eq, but I only have room for one. The course material may be challenging, but it's also pretty standard. The first half of the course is pretty easy with basic matrices and operations, but the second half can become very complicated very fast. If anything, it's quite the opposite. This isn't meant to discourage you. When I look at the Math 308 websites, I don't see any proof-based homework questions. I can only pick one: Math 307 or 308? It’s my final quarter of my undergrad degree and I want to take a math elective. I've found everything I need from 307 and 308 have been reexplained and reintroduced. What were you planning to take with it? I took his number theory class (MATH 301) and it’s honest not bad. I haven’t taken his other intro classes so I was confused about negative comments for him at first. I find it about the same level of difficulty as 307. tzwz2n, nofv, sq, nbly, myi, ow, pxe, 3h6o5, 8xa6fq, 6o8f,
